As President and Owner of Tidewater Valve and Fitting (TVF), Diane has spent the last fifteen plus years supporting Michael’s vision in the pipe, valve and fitting industry. She watched him begin with nothing but a cell phone and his vision of offering the personal quality service which has been the foundation of TVF’s inception and success. Diane has not only represented the women-owned aspect of the business, she has had the opportunity to build an amazing business alongside her husband. Together they’ve worked in diverse avenues of business development, staff development, policy development, product diversity and have maintained the organized structure of the office solely to offer reliable, friendly and quality service to all.

Diane was born and raised in Virginia Beach, VA. She graduated from Princess Anne High School in 1985 and East Carolina University in 1990, where she earned a BA in psychology and a double minor in business administration and gerontology. During her school years much of her time was spent participating in a variety of musical endeavors. After college, Diane spent several years working in the long-term care field. Since then, the work and success of owning a small business has changed the face of her professional career.

Outside of work, Diane spends her time supporting her family, including three children who’ve grown up way too fast. She volunteers much of her time to various children’s activities, church, playing Bunco and learning to play golf. Diane also enjoys music, playing the flute and Broadway shows.
